Thank you so much, we have Nord VPN but never figured out how to set it up. You are a life saver.

NordVPN is one I'd never recommend due to it being a very bad VPN compared to its competitors. SurfShark VPN is good if you're looking for a lower budget but good VPN, but Express is a good one if you want a bigger variety of servers for an added cost.

DDOS happens on all systems, as it is easy and legal to get someones ip address as that is public then people use that to ddos which is then illegal, this is out of microsofts hands as this happens outside of the live service and cannot be detected by microsoft.

this is just as bad on PC and PS4 and even on phones.

you can either contact your isp to try and change ip, or shut off the router for a short while to initiate an ip change or use a vpn.

This seems to be a common thing on R6S on all platforms.

Common this is basic internet 101

Your ip address is publically known you cannot hide your ip from the internet as thars how you find yourself

Vpn is just another server but others see that server as your ip but you still have an ip to that aerver and any action on that server is still subject to the internet

Not to mention vpn can cause issues

Especially if you try for a foreign ip address like the us when you dont live there

DDOS attacks though your ip address in the tcpip protocols

Not private networks

This is whygaming services cant detect it because its not going thru their network

You only use them to login thats it

Anyone you connect to has access to your IP as simple as looking at their router logs

There are programs that make it simpler but your IP is never private
