Blutetooth Pairing

Hello! I am currently having trouble with pairing an Xbox one X controller to my phone. I have looked at other forums and nothing has worked it constantly shows "Inccorect PIN or passkey". I also tried to use an OTG cable to plug my controller
in that way, it resulted in a kernel crash. My phones model is a LG K20 V I would appreciate it if someone could help! (If any more information is needed I can supply it!)

first of all when you do these steps as per link i provided is the Xbox controller on the Bluetooth settings on your hone. Can your phone find it??? Make sure your phone is up to date also and just like pairing a headset on your phone either turn the Bluetooth
on and off and make sure its searching for the Bluetooth. It should work i have several paired on my phone but i have a pixel iPhone and Samsung.. the lg should work too. Make sure its compatible

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to your Xbox controller to your mobile device.

There is an article that covers how to
Troubleshoot Bluetooth on mobile devices and see if following some of these steps works for you. However, If you are prompted to enter a PIN or informed that an incorrect or wrong PIN has been entered and you are unable to pair your Xbox Wireless Controller
to your device, this is an indicator that the controller is not up to date.

If you are unable to update your controller via normal means, I recommend using the

Xbox One Wireless Controller Solution wizard and see if this helps.

I was able to update my controller however it still says "inccorect PIN or passkey", also I looked at the xbox wireless controller wizard and it did not talk about connecting to mobile devices only PC and Console.

My phone has connected with other bluetooth devices and worked fine. I have checked my Bluetooth it works fine and checked to see if my phone was fully updated, it was. My phone is also one of the cheapest on the market so it might be uncompatible. Thank
you so much for the help though! (I checked for compatibility it said most LG phones connect)

Have you tried a support group for your phone type to see if anyone there has any information?
