Bluetoth Windows 11

When I connect my controller from my Xbox One S via bluetoth to the PC it connects normal everything is fine, I play, but when it disconnects and I'm going to connect again it doesn't connect automatically, it just gets paired there in the bluetoth settings, but it doesn't connect, then I have to go there and remove the device in the bluetoth settings and look for the controller again, then it works, is there any way I don't need to do this and whenever I want to turn the controller on Xbox one S on PC does it connect automatically?

Hi!

First of all, be sure your controller firmware is up to date:

Update your Xbox Wireless Controller

After that, go to Device Manager on Windows 11 and check for bluetooh driver update.

Finally, check the energy saving setting for bluetooth following this article (it is still valid for Xbox controller):

A Bluetooth mouse or keyboard fails to reconnect after being left idle

wait a sec...x1 has bluetoth right? so bluetoth audio should work right?

no x1 doesn't have Bluetooth it uses wifi direct...so the $33 dollar solution from aperture looks like your best bet.

Yes, the version is elite 1, but there is bluetooth in the same place, as the same via bluetoth it connects to xbox one x. There's even a bluetooth search button. One thing left to think is, it requires a new bluetooth version, for example 4.5 or an original
adapter, and not a Chinese whistle.

That's odd. When you installed Windows 11, did you upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 or did you do a clean install with Windows 11?
