Bluetooth connection problem of X Box elite controller in Windows 10

The Elite Controller keeps getting paired rather than connected, so I updated windows 10, tried reconnecting the device, deleted and reinstalled the driver, and formatted the computer, but the problem is not resolved.

I am using windows 10 pro version 21H2.

I succeeded in connecting the X Box elite controller using "+ Add Bluetooth or other device".

But the button mapping was weird.

So, after connecting via USB, I also finished updating with xbox accessories.

With the Elite Controller connected via USB, it seems to work well.

However, when using Bluetooth, the X box logo button on the top center of the controller blinks slowly and is in the Paired state instead of Connected.

If you remove the Elite Controller from the "Bluetooth and other devices" settings and connect again using "+ Add Bluetooth or other devices", it will still be paired but not connected.

Please tell me how to solve the problem.

First I'll suggest you try it on a different PC to see if the issue remains. If it does, then it's an issue with the controller. If you've bought it within 30 days, you can take it back to vendor and request a replacement. However, they have pockets of threads with similar issues and holding on the controller and waiting for the next firmware update might be the best bet as Microsoft is aware of the issue and a fix might likely be in the works.

the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.

Bluetooth is only supported as connection in Windows 10, Windows 7/8 will require a usb cable connection or
the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows as mentioned on the following support page:

Have you run the Bluetooth troubleshooter yet on Windows 10?

Look over that and try every solution offered to see if your controller can connect via Bluetooth.

It says on the box it works with windows 10 and can be connected with bluetooth
