Blu-ray player wouldn't install, factory reset, now nothing will

I was able to get it to download updates for games with no issues with speed or latency, but nothing MS related or apps. I left it on and alone for a couple days and it seems to have resolved whatever issue it was. Perhaps a small issue connecting to the MS servers. Thank you for your response.

I would recommend resetting the console to factory defaults - then update to the current update and reinstall the blu ray player app and test it to see if working.

This might sound weird but if you have the blu ray player app installed then try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I had a problem where all my disc but two or three would work sometimes. I gave up with hard resets and everything and uninstalled the
blu ray player now the disc are working again. Hope this works for you.

Hi, I just unistalled the Blu-Ray app and did the factory reset keeping my games and apps as you suggested, but didn’t work, instead it loads the disc and then it takes me to the store, asking me to install the blu-ray app again.
