    Blu ray - lip sync again


    Hi,

    Hoping to get some advise.

    I have had my x1 since launch and is connected to a Yamaha 765 receiver via hdmi 1 to a Panasonic 50vt65

    I have experienced many lipsyncing issues since the start but thought there were improvements after the many blu ray updates.

    I have just tried playing "the hangover" 5051892007122 and have found pretty bad lipsyncing again.

    I have now connected the x1 direct to the tv via hdmi 2 (changed the settings to stereo) again tried the blu ray again, lip sync seems perfect.

    I also have a xbox360 connected to the Yamaha receiver and experience no lipsync issues.

    Is this a communication issue between the x1 and Yamaha 765?

    Any advise appreciated

    Bluray out of sync

    I'm having trouble with Lip-sync also. Tried Star Trek The Next Generation Season 2 Blu-ray it was really badly out of sync. Also tried Battlestar Galactica Season One Blu-ray, not quite as badly out of sync but was still out of sync.

    Blu-Ray video playback using HDMI is only 480i?

    I definitely get 1080p on Blu-ray... but it has lip-sync problems at the moment.

    3D blu-ray

    All Blu-ray players use software for playback. It is called firmware and generally is user updateable. The Xbox One is a proper Blu-ray player that has issues at the moment. Lip sync and no 3D playback among them.

    Tested out regular Blu-ray with Cosmos and the lip sync seems to be working in order, so its just limited to 3D.
