blocked account and old phone number

Okay, so just to clarify - the one that is blocked is the one currently being used as your WLID for your main account? Do you remember the password for the old WLID? What happens when you try to use the retrieve by phone number option?

my account was tied to my old phone number i don't have access to anymore

oh and yeah i also have the old phone number that is on the microsoft account still tied as a secondary number on my gmail account, that also being the original gmail of the microsoft account, there is no way that is not enough proof.

His old brother setup the xbox and I dont know what he entered. We do not have access to the phone number recovery and the account reset has now blocked with too many attempts.

There must be another way here. We can verifiy what games he plays on the account and when he last accessed the account

The reason for the blocking of your account could be an issue with your security settings / notification by: phone number

If it is being used by a second Microsoft account too,

After reactivating your account, try to customize the security settings to notification by alternate email only and see if it goes away. If it does your phone number is in use by another account for notifications.
