    Block feature should be removed


    I needed help in a game yesterday and we were struggling a bit. My friend backed out and I went to his profile to message him. That is when I saw he blocked me. I went to a dummy account and sent him a couple party invites. He didn't reply so I messaged him why he block me and he blocked me there too. I think the block feature should be removed for silly things like that.

    Well the reason he had for blocking me was very silly. That is why it should be removed
    The reason may be silly to you, but not to them. It's not up to you who another person wants to block or not. It's entirely up to them. Bypassing that by using another account can also count as harassment on your part.

    I'll be locking this thread now since you've brought this up several times over the past few years.

    You're unlikely to find any major service without it

    The block feature is extremely useful to prevent anyone harassing someone or spamming them with invites/party invites etc. so they aren't going to remove it anytime soon.

    If your "friend" has blocked you then they have their reasons & it sounds to me like the block tool is doing exactly what it's meant to.

    Reporting the user via the console is the only way for it to reach enforcement. They do not use the forums. If you follow through with your threat to spam these forums you will be removed.
