block communications feature does not work!

I received abusive messages from a profile, i filed a complaint, selected the mute button, and within the message i selected block communications. The message vanished from my inbox like it does when you block communications but 2 minutes later i received
another abusive message from the same profile which i again selected block communications! Again 2 minutes later i received ANOTHER message which i again clicked on block communications! this happened 5 times! I contacted xbox live support and spoke to someone
and all they kept doing was sending me to a page to file a report on bad communication, did not help with stopping this person from sending me messages when they are supposed to be blocked! Have ended chat without resolving the problem

Blocking a player will only block communications with the player that you block. You can find the steps to block a player on our block a player from communicating
with you page. If you are being matched with players that are violating the Code of Conduct, I recommend reporting the offending player by following the steps on our report
a player from your Xbox One console page.

 

Block feature does not work

If you review the public statement by Michael Dunn program manager you will see that he never said "less likely". I appreciate your appearent speculation about this malfunction, but I was hoping for a clear answer to fix it. Please put me in touch with someone
that has an answer to this problem.

As to the reputation system you refer to, not I or anyone I've communicated with has ever seen any player with anything less than the reputation everyone starts out with. In other words, no one has ever seen that this system is actually working.

I continue to seek an answer to this problem.

I'm sorry to hear about this situation being caused from abusive messages. Besides blocking the communications it is recommended to block the users account as well. When you select their profile you see an option that says "Report or Block" and then block
the users profile.

https://enforcement.xbox.com/ is the place where you can get more information on blocking user accounts.

 

yes i did that also but they can still send me messages

 

i do not have the "report or block" option on their profile. i have submit player review... file complaint... and mute. I submitted bad player review. i then filed a complaint, i then selected mute, and also clicked block communications within the message.
they are still able to message me!

please read the first message posted! I already blocked them several times but it is not working, even tho it says on xbox live that they are blocked, the are still able to send me abusive messages! I have already reported them for the abusive messages!
i now need a way to report that the block feature is not working!

There is a feature to report a problem from your Xbox if you believe the blocking feature is not working. If blocked accounts are still able to send you messages then you can report the problem by having the

Xbox Insider Hub app installed and then hold down the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the power menu, report a problem while be visible from there.

Report a problem is available only on Xbox One consoles that have the Xbox
Insider Hub app installed. i am on 360
