Blip app can't connect to server

I keep getting a message that says the blip server is unavailable. I've tried everything doable through the xbox support page, I've deleted and redownloaded both the profile and the app, I've checked internet connectivity, I've tried basically every little
trick. I've even tried I disconnecting the xbox for five minutes and contacting blip themselves. Service status claims it's working but that just isn't the case. It's been working fine for years now with no issues. There are no corrupted files on it or anything
I tried talking with support but it didn't help, can someone here please explain tome what is going on? I can't possibly be the only person experiencing this.

Blip App isn't updating

Just to clarify, are you unable to watch anything on the Blip app or is the app just not updating with new content to view?

If, by chance, you are unable to watch anything on the app, I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Blip app. You can navigate to our

connecting to online games

the Xbox app on windows 10 can't connect to the server (server connection: blocked) help solve this problem! could it be a problem with my account

 

I'm experiencing the same problem, actually. It started yesterday. Haven't been able to fix it.

 

I'm also experiencing the problem. A solution would be appreciated.

 

I'm wondering if there is just something wrong with the apps. I swear nearly all the apps that had been working flawlessly for weeks just all the sudden quit working over the weekend with "can't connect" to server crap over and over.

 

I'm haveing the same problem, but just with Blip. I deleted it/Re-Installed it/cleared the cache on my hard drive. All the suddon the Blip app stopped working with no announcement from anyone. LAST.FM stated it's removal from XBL. I hope that's not the case.
It must be a problem on Blip's end? Maybe? It would be nice to know what's going on. It's been down around a week. Atleast I know it's not just me. Fix it! Fix it! Fix it!

 

OK, so it isn't just me. Saw it down, checked status page (up and running... Yeah right), searched for issues and this was the second result. Would like some info from MS or blip concerning this.

 

Well it's good to see at least this isn't my fault or anything at least. Since so many other people have encountered this, now I know I'm not crazy or stupid.

I've contacted blip support, and they say they're looking to it, but no response as to what is going on yet. For now, see about contacting your friends about the issue. Have them download the app, it's free anyway, and see if it works for them. It could
be an issue with long time users if it works for people who purchased it recently. If it doesn't, that means something is definitely wrong on Blip's end.

I hope it isn't being removed. The app is the only way I can actually search for new videos without using the insanely terrible search system on the main site. Honestly, you'd think they would let you click the new videos tab to see everything that's come
out in order, like youtube. But no, five videos and if you miss one you'll probably never see it or be aware it exists.

Plus I like watching them all on the big screen.

 

Apologies, that last post was mine, I accidentally created this second account one time and it keeps popping up every time I check my email attached to said account. It's really annoying.

 

Appears to be working now (for me at least).
