Blank Disc in Game Case

My son received Forza 7 as a Christmas gift from his grand parents this year. It was purchased from a Walmart store (located on the other side of the country) and we have no access to the original receipt. The game appeared to be new as the case was sealed
and in the condition that one would expect from a new game; however, the case contained a blank Verbatim brand disc.

We're obviously dealing with some form of fraud here. Either at the Walmart level or at the supplier level.

Curious to know if anyone has experienced something similar. There are similar incidents posted on the web, but not many.

I expect we're out of luck on this and my Dad is out $80, but I'd like to spread the word at the very least.

Lesson learned......open any and all game/movie cases prior to leaving the store.

xbox one blank screen

I've had my xbox one for 2 months now and just recently had problems start happening. when booting forza 5 I get no sound then when it get to microsoft studio logo it goes blank. I have been unplugging it for 10 seconds and problem is fixed but it's happened a total of 3 to 4 times recently. this time i tried a digital game when forza didn't work and the digital game worked. after that tried forza again still same blank screen no sound so tried another disc game tomb raider also blank. unplugging system works everytime but has me worried something is wrong with my system since it keeps happening.

I don't buy physical discs. Have you tried returning it to the place of purchase?

So, if you paid $60 for a new game and brought it home to find it a blank disc you would be absolutely satisfied with your purchase? Please.

The console was bundled with a physical copy of quantum break but the games disc case only included the quantum break disc. There was no paperwork inside the disc case, literally only the quantum break disc.

Could be you have poorly made disks, I had a copy of Halo 3 and MW2 crack and eventually shatter inside the xbox while spinning i the xbox. I guess quantity over quality is taken into consideration when a big hit release is to be set to release by a certain
date.

tbh you must be taking them out wrong I have never had a problem with it.
