Black screen tv

Also it's not the whole screen that goes black, it's only the TV app screen that goes black

Theyre both older tvs (mot smart) so i wouldnt see how they would have updates. And as for the black screen, that doesnt work because its not a black screen, its just as if no one plugged anytbing into the tv, its like theres no input in the tv (yes both
are plugged in) theres no black screen outputting from the xbox, its the tv saying hdmi (as in its on the hdmi selection but theres no input)

Nah, I'm having this problem on multiple tv's. The only difference is that on MY tv the screen goes black every once in a while and has glitchy lines going across the screen randomly, on the living room tv the screen just never goes to the xbox menu or anything, it just says no signal and nothing happens and on my kitchen tv there are no glitchy lines but the screen goes black like every other second...

Symptoms

Troubleshooting

Solutions

•Check the connection for the A/V or HDMI cable on your Xbox console.

•Check the connection for the A/V or HDMI cable on your television.

•Try plugging your HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your television.

•Reset your display settings. To do this: 1.Remove any discs from the disc tray.

2.Turn off the console.

3.Turn on the console.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.

4.As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.
