    I am trying to update my xbox one.. And I have run into the black screen problem. Is there no patch or legitimate software fix for the Problem? All of the online work arounds and factory reset options set options really don't address the fact that the software doesn't work. So does Microsoft still support the xbox one or not?

    I only get black screen on co op missions. I reported that bug through the XBOX1 error report. Mine was digital download.

    The error displays on a black screen with TV icon

    TV = sony (new)

    Setup = STB HDMI in to xbox1 then Xbox1 HDMI out to tv

    STB= directv/non dvr receiver- Model: H24-100

    Audio= Bose solo sound bar

    set up only works until i power down all devices then the next day nothing works - cant view tv

    Yeah...I don't believe it's the cables. I just bought all new HDMI cables. I get no sparkles on my xbox 360, or my Sony blue ray, or the computer...but I do get random green sparkles on my xbox1. That and the occasional black screen. So unless the one cable
    on the xbox1 is bad, and all the others that I bought at the same time are good...which is not very probable...it's not the cables. More M.soft BS is more like it.

    Yes,.. I looked them up and they are on the list. Like Need For Speed Most Wanted, Call Of Duty Black Ops 1&2, and Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. I put the disk in my Xbox1 S and a pop up screen comes up and says it's not compatible.
