Black ops one not readable of xbox 1, makes weird spin up noice then loud errr noise will...

Weird. Only games I have ever had problems with the actual physical disc has been the two Black Ops game. First black ops game, I put into my xbox and it started making weird noises. Sounded like a chainsaw was going off, opened up my disc drive and the
disc was torn to shreds. After about a twenty tries, it installed all the way through. Now I have problems with Black Ops II. It happened to me again not to long ago. Weird how it got scratched though.

Depends what noise it is you are talking about.

The Xbox One will make more noise while installing from a BluRay as it is spinning the disc at high speed to install the game.

Once installed, the game runs from the HDD and the disc is used for security authentication at boot up. That is why it is quiet when playing games.

So if the noise was a loud whirring, then that is normal during install. If it was anything else like grinding noise, that isn't normal.

I don't know if it is the fan because mine makes the same loud noise after I shut it off but one time I tried ejecting the disc and the noise stopped. I don't think it is the fan I think it is the disc spinning.

Mine's freezing (admittedly it's only done it once) during Tekken, which I have installed. Drive's showing odd behaviour as well. It's making weird noises mid game or just stopping and then spinning up again or sounds like it's failing to spin up and giving
every error under the sun (except open tray) with 1 or 2 games. Doesn't do it all that often, but point is, it shouldn't be doing it

How strange, I had a one that made noise only when changing the game (even digital) but it was only for about 10 seconds the cooler was spinning so loud that it made a loud noise, but it passed fast, I hope you can solve your problem, good luck !
