Black Ops 3 season pass , son can't figure out how to access it

my son is just now telling me that the season pass he purchased in December is not work but he entered the number on the receipt from GameStop in December but was waiting till the new map came out. I have no idea how this works. can anyone help me figure
this out. I do know that he had a credit on his account that he though was left over from his older brother (it was a hand down xbox one ) could that have been the season pass?

DLC on the Family Pack

I have the Season Pass on Black OPs 2 and I was going to purchase it for my son... only there seems to be no way to purchase it for him under the new system.

Is there a way to allow him access to mine? We have 3 consoles and 1 travels with me and 2 remain at home. How can I give the kids access to DLC?

The price has not reduce for Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Season Pass. I feel I'm paying too much money since Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 is a 6 year old game. The season pass should get reduce because Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Season Pass
gets reduce or discount price. Time is passing and Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 is arriving soon. It's time to give Black Ops 2 Season Pass a discount. The price is out rage since not many going to buy season pass anymore. Microsoft is ripping $10 more at Microsoft
Store on Xbox One. It cost $40.00 in the Black Ops 2 store and cost $49.99 at Microsoft store. It's a ripoff. Please give 90% discount on the season pass. It never going to sell if you keep it at the same price for years. Thank You - P.S. Keep

If he entered the code correctly then he should have the season pass. To make sure it's downloaded go to My Games and Apps and hit the start button (black button with 3 gray lines) on Black ops 3. Then go to Manage Game. From there you should see the season
pass and dlc. If you click on the season pass, it should prompt you to install if you haven't. You should also be able to install the maps from the main menu after you load up the game.

If you don't see the season pass you can search for it in the marketplace and try to download it there.

 

I'm having the same problem. I redeemed my code for the season pass, but it still says that I need to not only buy the dlc, but that I also still need to buy the season pass. I've put the code in multiple times and it says that the code is already in use.
