Black Ops 3 can't connect to servers - servers are working for other users

my COD Black Ops 3 cant connect to online servers. Every other game on the xbox works fine but the version on the home screen of the game wont update. I've tried restating xbox and router, redownloaded the game, cleared xbox cache, deleted saved files.

I've run out of ideas. i can jump onto battlefield and the EA online servers work fine, so I cant be my internet. When my friend loads the game on his console, the servers are working, i just cant seem to connect.

any help with this would be appreciated as i have just purchased the game and would like to be able to play it online with my friends.

Hi there! I'll do my best to help.

To further isolate the issue, could you please connect to a different network or internet source? You could try your mobile data hotspot.

Other option would be to perform a factory reset to remove potentially corrupted data on your console system. There's an option to keep your games and apps so you won't need to reinstall everything:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console? Please choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”

I've tried Black ops 3, Battlefield Hardline, and GTA 5. When I try GTA it says it can't connect to the servers. When I try bo3 it keeps me on the connecting to online service and checking files thing forever. And when I try Hardline it says it can't connect
to EA servers right now.

Cannot connect to Black ops server either. The Black Ops site says the server is up... but I cannot connect in game. Though I can access other Xbox Live stuff, just not CoD: BO. Please someone look into fixing this, thanks.

I have been having the same issue recently. Never had connection problems in the past. NAT Type is Open. Can connect to XBox live but when I try to connect to the black ops server I get the standard message. Black Ops servers are ups and friends can't
connect. When it happens, I have tried rebooting the router, Xbox console, playing other COD versions without issue. Seems to last for 24 hours and then start working again.

Have run the network test with no issues and no "more info" prompt either. Any suggestions?

It is the same for me. I get this message since the last system update. It is frustrating because I was able to connect to black ops servers before!!! Why all of a sudden you have to be a gold member to connect to the black ops server?
