    Black ops 2 isn't letting me play xbox live


    I've been trying to play bo2 for the past 24 hours and it keeps refusing to let me on xbox live telling me to go the www.callofduty/blackops2/status and it says everything is up and running yet everytime I click xbox live on black ops 2 it's giving me this message. How can I resolve this? It's doing the same on both my xbox 360 and xbox series x and the same issue is happening on black ops 1 leading me to believe someone with a modded console has restricted my online access to the game how can I resolve this?

    I understand that you want to play Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 however it isn't working.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please restart your Xbox. Turn off your Xbox completely, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.

    Kindly do the same with your router too in order for your network connection to refresh.

    And then check NAT Type. Go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Test NAT type. Your NAT type should be Open.

    Next is to sign out of your account, then sign back in and download your profile again.

    Then uninstall and then reinstall the game for the corrupted files will be deleted.

    Hey there, the code for Gold membership grants access to multiplayer all across Xbox Live including Black Ops 2, but you need to have Black Ops 2 to play its multiplayer - I don't see it on your recent activity. Call of Duty Elite isn't the same.
