Black borders on monitor when streaming from Xbox One to Windows 10

Discus and support Black borders on monitor when streaming from Xbox One to Windows 10 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Whenever I stream my Xbox One to my PC it will display 2 black borders on the bottom of the screen and on the top.     Black borders on monitor when streaming from Xbox One to Windows 10


    Whenever I stream my Xbox One to my PC it will display 2 black borders on the bottom of the screen and on the top. I can't seem to find fixes to this problem.

    Asus ROG Strix XG35VQ on Xbox One X

    I know the One X cannot play in 21:9 but will it run on this monitor and just give black borders?

    I am fine with borders I just don't want it to be stretched.

    XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

    Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

    There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

    XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

    Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

    There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

    I don't stream/broadcast very often, but when I do, I stream directly from the device I am using. So if on Xbox, I'll stream from that or on Windows 10, I will stream from that. I don't own a capture card, and have no desire to purchase one either. I think
    the Xbox or Windows 10 streaming features do a reasonable job anyway.
