bitdefender finds virus in xbox app

Well that's why you don't use anti virus while gaming unless you are using third party apps

If you followed the instructions from Mrallamagoosa's post, and the PC still doesn't find your console, check if your PC has a third party firewall installed (for example from an Anti-Virus suite like Norton, McAfee, Bitdefender or the likes).

Try to disable or uninstall the Firewall and have the Windows internal firewall do its job.

I finally fixed it and it works now, was searching Reddit about this issue and a fix worked.

Tho I am unsure why multiple clean boots did not work as only windows resources should have been running and all other programs were disabled from starting up.

It was my Bitdefender virus scanner NOT Bitdefender Firewall (which I do not have) as listed in the conflicting programs, disabling Bitdefender did not work for me but when I went into Bitdefender and turned off "Advanced Threat Detection" the game worked no problem.

Spent around 10 hours trying to fix this, searching for fixes, and doing the fixes they suggested multiple times none of it worked. all it took was for me to toggle Bitdefenders Advanced Threat Detection off and it worked.

What antivirus are you using? If turning it off doesn't work, then you will probably have to make exceptions for the game in the anti-virus program's settings or even uninstall it. Windows Defender is all you need to keep your computer safe and many third-party
anti-virus programs prevent games downloaded from the Windows Store from downloading. I looked online and found that Bitdefender was known to block this game.

Is this the only game that you currently cannot play through the Game Pass?
