Birthday reward not showing

Hello there, long-time user here with a problem I just now noticed; my birthdate on my account has been wrong for years, and I corrected it to 05/05. When should i expect the system to correct itself and send out a digital gift?

Birthday Reward not showing

I have owned my account for roughly nine years, having it set up by an older sibling and recently had to change the account information to fit my correct birthdate, today, may 5th. I can understand if it would take a little bit for the reward to show up,
but will it show up and will I be notified of it?

For help with the Rewards program, you'll need to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. Although the rewards program goes by what was entered when the Xbox account was created which is not possible to change. So they may not see your birthday
as being this month.

We use the original Xbox Live birthdate you entered, and not your Microsoft Account birthdate. This information is captured on your registration, and cannot be changed.

As long as you qualified on the 1st of the month, the birthday gift should show as pending on the Rewards site for you. Gifts were sent around the 8th of the month. The birthday gift is not a controller, the gift is 20 points.

If the points are not pending for you, post in the Rewards forum so support can check into it for you.

If your birthday was in October, you'll want to post in the support section of this forum so support can check into that for you. the birthday rewards just started on October 1, so rewards would not have been sent for any birthdays before then.

You used to be able to get a small reward through the Xbox Rewards program for your birthday, but that ended several years ago. Currently, you don't receive anything for your birthday.
