    Dear Rewards Support,

    today I received a Happy Birthday email from Xbox Rewards.

    Must be a mistake because I wasn't born in January. My birthday is in November.

    I also checked my personal details of my MS account and everything looks correct, even my date of birth.

    The only gift I received was an email from Xbox Rewards wishing me a happy birthday. But I will be enjoying my birthday playing a lot of Forza 5 and then on my birthday, probably Ghosts, AC4, and Ryse.

    Very simply Just un-subscribe at the bottom of the email.

    It must be really annoying getting one email a year wishing you happy birthday.

    Hi C cRaZy D. It looks like our system isn't getting your correct birthday information because it has your birthday set to a default date given to those we don't have information for. Is this (Sign in to your Microsoft account) where you checked your MS Account

    Have you re-input your birthday information? Even though you will be entering the same thing, we are currently receiving outdated, corrupt information for your birthday. By re-entering your information, this should reset the field. Let us know when you you
    do this. Our system should take 96 hours to receive this new information.

    It looks like we're still receiving the incorrect date of birth information from your account. We'll wait a few more days, just to see if your adjustment updates this information. Currently we're getting a default date for your birthday of January 1st, which
    is why you got your birthday email. We are aware of an issue where some users are being set to a default birth date, and we have already escalated this type of error to another team to investigate. While this does not impact your Rewards Account negatively,
    it will mean that your birthday e-mail will be a few months late, as you experienced. We'll check back in a few more days!

    Unfortunately, it looks like your account is currently being affected by a data error which we are investigating. As mentioned previously, the data being sent to us for your account is listed as a default placeholder which has January as your month of birth.
    We are currently investigating why this is occurring with our data provider, but do not currently have an estimate on when this will be resolved. Fortunately, your date of birth is only used for determining if you can join the program, and for your birthday
    email. This incorrect information will not affect Rewarding in any way. We apologize for the inconvenience that this incorrect information has caused in incorrectly sending your birthday email, and hope to have this issue resolved shortly.
