Bioshock trilogy rip off

Hello having purchased all three bioshock games at full price on the 360 I now find out I need to pay another £45 on xbox downloads to play these games.

Clearly they can be made backwards compatibly, so why do I need to pay even more money to play games I own?

Games like the bioshock trilogy the dead space trilogy,alien isolation,batman AA, and Halo are good examples of all of them blended together perfectly.

This is the reason I have not bought the new Bioshock infinite DLC, burial at sea ep1 is it? because it is meant to be £9.99 but it's up at £11.99. Bloody rip off.

 

Apologies, the Bioshock collection was digitally remastered and released for the Xbox One. That doesn't rule out that it might some day be added to the BC list. However at this time the Bioshock collection is the only way to play them on X1.

You can still vote for them to be added to the back compat list at feedback.xbox.com

 

I'am aware of the voting for games on the bc list. But thank you there maybe others who read this and find out.

My point really is given how much money we spend on games they find new ways to squeeze more out of us.

In thus situation it feels very unfair.

 

Remastered games are not a new thing. Fable the Lost Chapters on classic Xbox, Fable Anniversary on 360, Halo Anniversary on 360, Halo The Master Chief Collection on One, Assassin's Creed Liberation on 360. The list goes on. Just because a game can be made
backwards compatible doesn't mean that a publisher will do that. They may do a remake or simply nothing, preferring that customers focus on newer properties.

 

I agree with fluffyBuck she shouldn't have to pay for games that they have already purchased in the past but I think the big issue about this collection is that Microsoft had promised us that they would make all bioshock game backwards compatible by the
end of the year and we have received no word about it and are being asked to download this collection for games they may already have

 

You have to remember that its up to the developers of the game to ok backwards compatibility of their game(s). This is out of Microsoft's hand. If the developer wants to release a remastered version instead of (or in conjunction with) their original games,
that's their choice. You should reach out to 2K devs on their forum site and let them know what you want as well as on feedback.xbox.com

I really just want them to know how people feel. Fair enough if they release the re-master and have BC. But to only have the remaster feels like we're pushed towards paying more.
