Bioshock "collection" do not buy this exercise in greed

I see your point but if people that have not played wanted to do so they could have gotten all three games cheaper for backwards compatible then the asking price for the collection. The way I see it is the Bioshock games were highly requested for backwards
compatibility and someone at 2K saw more dollar signs in a repaint then they did for B\C

Look, the 360 versions -- particularly Infinite -- were bad in performance on the original consoles. Having a BC copy will just make that experience worse. These games weren't optimal for console when they released. And Infinite wants you to believe you're
in the sky but the background turns to mush more often than not. If anything, there should be an upgrade discount so that maybe now you're get to see the game with proper visual fidelity without having to buy a PC.

 

I agree with Crafty. There are so many idiots with more cash than they know what to do with it, that devs know they can milk those bank accounts further. If i had the smarts to make this sort of stuff, I'd be fleecing these idiots too. Easy money. DLC,
skins, in-game currency, map packs, a lot of you people lap it up. Now you're complaining about 3 games being a cash grab. Yeah, makes no sense until some of you are back on here defending some hour long dlc that costs $9.99. About time some people take
their own inane advice on board e.g. "No one is forcing you to buy it".

 

Didn't realize I was complaining thought I was just stating how I see the situation. My only complaint would be MS and Xbox falsely advertising the game as coming soon to backwards compatible. No one forced me to buy a copy of the game in anticipation of
backwards compatibility but I was mislead by MS/Xbox. I am not upset due to feeling mislead because I can still play it. Like I said originally I can wait for the remastered to go on sale.

 

It wasn't aimed at you. There are one or 2 others in this very thread that lynch people who complain about dlc and now they're shouting 'greed'. I don't mind remasters because this gen has obviously been heavily geared towards remasters, so it's either
a case of getting used to it/accepting it or moving onto another hobby. Will be buying Skyrim myself on the PS4, so not knocking those that buy them, just pointing out the hypocrisy. After all, anyone who defends a ridiculous piece of dlc, that is priced
close to what you'd expect to pay for an expansion, then calls this greed needs to have a word with themselves.

It may still be BC as I'm pretty sure there is a BC game that has gotten the BC treatment and had a remaster. Saints Row maybe? Can't really recall which game it actually was.

 

Sorry my bad I misunderstood you. The only game I know of that is remastered and backwards compatible is castle crashers.

I really enjoy Bioshock and I'll be glad to buy the collection. Not the biggest fan of 2 but Bioshock and Infinite are fantastic games.

 

regardless of whether or not its a full price game I'm snagging a copy because......why not
