Bioshock "collection" do not buy this exercise in greed

This has gone way too far we all know with this *collection" the bioshock games will not be on the backwards list for no reason but sheer greed for a "collection" thats nothing but a port. Im a huge fan of the bioshocks and not a chance in the world im buying
this junk. Re-releasing is fine for new players but not adding them to the backwards list as well is a real slap in the face for all the real fans who have had these games for years. I urge every real fan to do the same and refuse this "collection" of greed
and make this bull stop. If we dont every decent game on the 360 will get a "collection" and only the trash will be backwards added red dead redemption will never be on the list if they arent stopped now

This has gone way too far those games shoulda been backwards compatible ages ago and now they wont for some "collection" that is just a bunch of ports of the games we all already own. Its fine to make them but then obviously not adding them backwards as
well for nothing but sheer greed is unacceptable. Ive been a huge fan of the bioshock games and there is not a chance in the world im buying this greedy collection I urge others to do the same or every 360 game that was worth playing at all is gonna get a
"collection" version and no backwards compatibility, I guarntee red dead redemption will never make it onto the backwards list if this continues we need to stop them now

 

While I do agree that the "collection" genre might seem like a cash grab, it's the most logical thing for 2K and the best for the community. You get (in my opinion) three amazing games assumingly (as there is no price yet) for the price of one or a little
more. Yes, having it BC would be great for fans who already own the trilogy, however, if I am a new fan, no way am I paying for three individual games when I could get all three for cheaper with the collection.

 

Actually the first two were like 5 bux each a few months ago. Lets just see what the price of this collection is.

 

Don't care what the price is at launch because I am waiting for it to go on sale.

 

I agree. They knew we all wanted them so they slap a coat of paint on and charge us. Let's wait to see what they are priced at before we grab our pitchforks. If they're more than €20 I'll pass.

 

Three great games?

There's "Bioshock" which was amazing and then the other 2 that weren't.

What extra games are they throwing in to give us 3 great games?

 

they would need to pay me to buy them again, if i already own the digital licence they should just let us have the BC versions, they will still make money from people buying the bc versions. instead of taking the time needed to add a few polygons here and
there to port them over they could have used the manpower to design or make a new game.

Apparently the collection will cost $59.99 in north america, which to me is the cost of a full retail next gen game, ill just plug the 360 back in to play them if this is how they are going to go, hell, i can even buy a pre owned 360 to play the digital versions
i own on for the same price.

 

I've already pre-ordered mine. The Bioshock series is one of my favorite video game series. I enjoyed all three and I can't wait to play them again.

 

I won't be buying them due to the greed reason. It will be full price when its released for sure. I knew when Skyrim was announced I was like yup that won't be going backwards now. Bioshock is a great series but I won't buy it a second time.

 

All DLC included sounds nice to me. And I believe they are still working on making the Xbox360 version of the bio shock games playable on the xboxone.

 

Why would they still be making the 360 versions bc?

I'm saying your wrong but that really makes no sense if they want to sell a revamped xbox one version of the games.

As much as enjoyed the first 2 games I doubt i'll be buying this.Probably just rent it.

 

I'm with the wanting it backwards compatible crowd, I'd give them $5 for the collection and not a cent more.
