No 5 per month is the breakdown of the cost which means 59dollars onw time payment per 12months

.if you want to pay less you gotta pick 3 month or 1month cost goes up per month it you choose the monthly

on average it is 7.99 per month vs 5 dollars a month for one time payment for 12months

5xl x 12months is 60dollars one time payment

vs 7.99 x 12 months

As with all services you save only by buying bigger packagea it doesnt go both ways

Hey, thanks for the response. As I've had this problem for weeks and been in touch with support several times already, however, these steps were the first things I tried.

1. My billing address is correct, and I have also removed all payment options on my account and added my credit card again. I also don't understand what the billing and payment options have to do with paying with Microsoft Points.

2. I've verified my security proofs.

3. There are obviously no Xbox Live service alerts about this issue that have persisted for several weeks.

4. My connection is fine as well.

Did you choose to buy a one time purchase for the Realms subscription or did you choose reoccurring? The

FAQ for Realms states that your subscription would automatically expire after the length of time you purchased if you chose one time. If you don't see anything in your subscription section of your Microsoft Account, then it's safe to assume you chose the
one-time payment option and you won't be charged once the month is up.

Did you pay using your Microsoft account? Maybe there is a description of the payment details found on your account's order history whether it was a one-time payment or reoccurring. https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

If you choose to use a payment method (credit/debit card/PayPal account) to pay for your Xbox LIVE Gold membership, that payment method must be active at all times during the duration of your membership. If Microsoft sees that the card has expired, or is now
invalid and cannot be shown as being valid then you will get the message stating that your membership is suspended until you update your payment options. These are the policies they have put in place regardless of you having paid your membership for a month,
3 months, or multiple years.

This is not the case if you were to redeem codes on your account for Xbox LIVE Gold membership time.

You should be able to edit the payment method by visiting the Microsoft Commerce & Billing site
here. After doing so, you should be able to continue playing on Xbox LIVE with no issues.
