    Big concerns of stability with the game Deep rock galactic on Microsoft store


    Hi,

    I am looking out for a way to contact the Microsoft Store support for I have critical problems with a game I own with my Xbox account.

    I have been playing the game Deep rock galactic with my friends since early access.

    We are seriously considering to buy it a second time this time on Steam because too many problems occurred with the Windows Store version :
    - In-game chat not working properly, doubled voices, sometimes no voice. Impossible to manage with Xbox bar.
    - Game not auto-updating sometimes.
    - Sometimes it was impossible to create a group with friends. Invites working for a player, not for the others.
    - The game randomly crashed while going back to the desktop via Windows button on keyboard.
    - Successes did not validate when achieved. Many days later, several successes could be validated afterwards.
    - More critical, some parts of the game are sometimes inaccessible. We yesterday and today were not able to launch the Deep dives mode anymore. The game crashed (we tried maybe 10 times?) as we started the mission. Normal missions still remained possible!!
    Nobody on Steam reported such a problem.

    I hope we can find a way to solve these problem and remain on your store, but we are seriously considering leaving it quickly.

    Goldeneye is said to be playable on PC but...

    On pc go to Microsoft store and open xbox you can download and play it on there. You have to get the game pass in order to play. Same goes for the game deep rock galactic

    On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

    If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.

    That's old. It seems that something in your system could be corrupted. But lets try finding if that's the reason

    1. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try installing the game and gaming services from there:

    2. If the issue persists run the SFC tool to find and repair possible system corruptions

    3. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily.

    Restart your PC and give it a new try

    4. Perform an in-place upgrade for your system (Don't worry your content will remain)

    If you're not eligible we can try troubleshooting the game to see if we can make it work again.

    First, may I know if you tried opening the game from the Xbox app (or installing the game from the Xbox app)

    If the issue persists there, if you open Task manager. If you go to the processes tab, are you able to see the game "running"?
