The game must be in the MS store and be part of playAywhere. A game's product page will tell you what it supports. BG3 supports neither

Sorry to hear this has happened. The best way to check if it's a local issue or an issue with your profile is to

1. Disconnect your Xbox from the Internet

2. Launch a game

3. Play for a bit and make a local save

4. Exit the game and reconnect to the internet

5. Boot up the game again. If a cloud save is detected,it will ask whether you want to use the cloud save or the local save. Select the cloud save and hopefully it will be recovered.

Otherwise your best bet is to contact Xbox Support https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us#0 .
