    BFV unable to connect to EA servers


    I'm posting here because this issue has only started happening after performing a console update a couple of days ago.

    I updated the console with a 3.9GB patch the other night and everything seemed to be well. However, what I've noticed over the past couple of days is that if I quite out of a game of BFV multiplayer, I can no longer go back into the game. I can select the join game option etc, but nothing happens. When I go all the way back to the Xbox dashboard and launch the game again, I see the error message “you have lost connection to the EA servers”

    I press RT to “go online”, but this just times out.

    I can play other games perfectly online fine, stream YouTube, Netflix etc.

    The only fix for this is to reboot my router and hard reset the console. It’ll then work perfectly until the next time I quit out of a BFV game again.

    I play bfv in Xbox Cloud Gaming and console, but they can't connect to the server, so I'm 100% sure it's an account problem.

    I own a deluxe version of bfv, and I also have an xgpu subscription. My friend didn't buy bfv or eaplay. He used the game I shared and connected to the server.
