Beware of [Mod Removed] ! [URGENT]

To forum moderators : I already cleared me posting this with Xbox Support and have full chat logs should there be any issues

Now is the time of year - especially with FIFA 16's release imminent - where people and or companies are trying to scam / lure people into buying games through "dodgy" means - they are currently selling FIFA 16 for the Xbox One for £23.99 which is a fraction
of the cost from the store - now while some may say - oh its just a great deal - the method they use to sell these games is by pre-loading a fresh microsoft account with the game that the buyer purchases - essentially selling them the account information so
that they are able to download the game

Now theres atleast 1 but 2 reasons why this could be classed as illegal , 1 . These games could be being bought with stolen payment information and 2. Even if its not bought with stolen payment information - to make a profit here they would need to be circumventing
regional pricing by using a VPN which a member of the xbox support staff told me is against the terms and conditions

I just thought i would post this here to let you all know so you dont get stung by it

As davemcfly mentioned, please file a complaint against the user and block communications. That will ensure that the Xbox LIVE Policy and Enforcement Team will investigate.

 

For future reference,phone/chat support are nothing to do with the forums & can't "clear you" to post something.

In fact,the majority of them have no idea how the forums work or of the forum rules.

There is a place to report such things but I can't find the link at the moment.
