    (Better Together version) Can't connect to friend?


    Ever since making the switch from the original Xbox One Edition to the "Better Together"/Play Anywhere version, a specific friend and I have been unable to join each other. We can still play any other game just fine, and there aren't any problems when joining
    a world that another friend is hosting, but if it's just us, we're out of luck.

    We've tried just about all of the standard troubleshooting processes, like hard resets, power cycling, reinstalling the game, resetting routers/modems, etc. and nothing has worked. Does the game just not work well with specific internet connections at the
    moment, or is there something else that can be done about it?

    ive been having the same issue since 11:30 last night. I tried talking to so.e one but when i told them my sons version os working but my game isnt he said im glad your issue is fixed. This is bs

    Mincraft Better Together Version

    I was able to download minecraft better together version a while ago and I was playing it when all of a sudden it crashed. I tried starting it up again and it wouldn't so I tried reinstalling it but when I tried downloading it again the download keeps stopping
    at 96% giving me an error code so I am currently not able to download the game. I have tried many things and no one has encountered this problem that I know of I tried entering the error code at Xbox.com/errorhelp and it said it didn't have anything, if someone
    knows what to do that would be great

    I cannot join my friend on windows 10 minecraft.

    Not sure if it is still possible but you might have different versions. When I downloaded the Minecraft better together beta on my one. I could not join my windows 10 version until I downloaded the beta for win 10 version also. You or your friend might have
    the win 10 version while the other has the new better together version of Minecraft.

    MULTIPLAYER BETWEEN XBOX ONE AND XBOX 360

    The only cross-play version is the Better Together which unfortunately left the 360 behind. In order to play with your friend you'd need to play on the 360 version of Minecraft.

    PS4 - Better Together Update - "Can't Connect to World"

    Hello, this is my first time posting here. I'm not sure what to expect.

    I play Minecraft on Playstation 4 with a bunch of my friends (The only players I'm speaking of having issues are on Playstation btw.) The problem is, ever since the Better Together Microsoft update, there are a few of my friends that just cant connect to
    anybody else, and nobody can connect to them. Two people in particular are ones I used to play Minecraft with almost daily. I've gone through multiple FAQ's with one of my friends to try and fix the problem. Nothing that I've seen has changed our situation.
    For instance, the both of us have:

    -Removed each other as friends on Xbox and PS4, then re-added each other.

    -Deleted and reinstalled the Minecraft Application.

    -Unlinked the Microsoft accounts of players having issues and made new accounts. Those new accounts have been linked to the Playstation accounts.

    -and a few other small things that are pretty unnoteworthy that I'm having trouble remembering, such as fiddling with the in game online settings to make it as open for players as possible, and trying maps that are new and aren't maps processed from the
    PS4 Edition.

    The people that cant connect haven't played MC online in months, but we really want to get back into it. Any suggestions are welcome, but we've tried most things. I really wish that the Can't Connect Screen came with an appropriate error code :(

    Sorry to hear that you and your friends are having this issue. Have you tried checking that you and your friends are all using the 'better together" version and not the console edition?
