  1. Bethesda.net - Creation Club (paid DLC) connection problems on Series X?

I have created a lengthy post featuring videos and screen captures on the Bethesda support forums.

I will post a link thread below, which has several responses.

    https://bethesda.net/community/topi...-club-save-files-need-that-dlc-it-s-paid-dlc/

Here is the content of the first post on that thread:

Hey folks, I bought an Xbox Series X. Skyrim was on my Xbox One X's external hard drive. I hooked up the external drive to my Series X and transferred Skyrim over to its internal drive.

Now, I can't log into Creation Club. This is very important because I've bought many pieces of Creation Club DLC and my save files rely on that content to be there. I even deleted and reinstalled the game to see if that would help. To help, I made a video showing what's going on. I edited it for brevity and clarity, but here it is:

    https://youtu.be/3OsSd5Bhx0U

Please watch and any assistance is appreciated

Again, please read this one page thread (so far) for further details.

    https://bethesda.net/community/topi...-club-save-files-need-that-dlc-it-s-paid-dlc/

Any help is greatly appreciated. Is anyone else with a Series X and paid mods/Creation Club content having this problem?

I have also made a thread about it on the Xbox support forums.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-68de-45e7-b297-d27d38306a8b?tm=1607509275830

Is this a DRM or security problem blocking me from logging into the server because it doesn't recognize the hardware? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition and my Family Shared account?

As of right now I asked for and received a refund for Skyrim Anniversary Edition from Microsoft/XBOX. The amount of hoops it has taken to attempt to link my son's account (under my family) to Bethesda.net has made it quite near impossible for him to play the creation club content. After spending many hours on the phone with XBOX support, it became painfully obvious that they simply don't know how to fix this issue. Bethesda is primarily to blame. While I think there is great content in the Anniversary Edition, I believe Bethesda should have offered it as a DLC, not make players register through their server and get the content through the creation club.

Why do I keep getting ripped off on fallout 4 when I buy Creation Club points

    Hi ThomasM1313,

Welcome to Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today.

Based on Creation Club | Summer 2017 (bethesda.net), Creation Club is available also for PC and available via in-game digital marketplaces purchased with Credits. Please contact Bethesda support instead for assistance in getting Creation Club credits to your PC. See: Fallout 4 - Bethesda Support.

    Kind regards,

I’m having the fallout 4 creation club not loading problem

After scouring the help pages over at bethesda.net I finally found a page that has a few solutions that are not included in the main Bethesda troubleshooting section regarding this problem.

What finally worked for me was to disable the “ask before buying“ option in the Xbox one menu, After disabling it CC loaded up fine on all Xbox’s In the house..... interesting that this doesn’t affect Skyrim special edition’s ability to load creation club but, there you go.

    Network connection errors...

I've only been playing Fallout4 recently, which is a single player game. It has booted me from Bethesda.net servers while browsing mods/creation club.

As far as dumping the connection, it disconnects from xbox live completely. I go into network settings and it re-connects after a few minutes.

I've had problems with modem/router before. Those usually require resetting modem/router. This is not that. No one else in my house is having connection issues. It is just my xbox one x, and it has only been going on since last week's outtage.

I have hard reset console and modem more times in the last week than I have in the last year. That is not solving the problem, this is definitely something on Microsoft/Xbox Live end. Its POSSIBLE it's on Comcast's end, but not likely given my previous issues
with Comcast hardware. This is new...and rapidly getting old.

Fallout 4 mods coming Tuesday 31st

New Fallout 4 Texture Mode to improve visuals on the console announced.

Fallout 4 Creation Kit 1.5.3 Update: Optimized Textures Support for Xbox One

    Bethesda Game Studios

Today's Creation Kit update adds the ability to optimize textures for Xbox One. If your mod contains textures, all you need to do is re-build your mod archives and re-upload your Xbox One mod to Bethesda.net.

The update does require a new redistributable for Visual C++ 2015. To properly install the new redistributable, you can uninstall, then reinstall the Creation Kit in the Bethesda.net Launcher. You can also download it directly here.

NOTE: CreationKit.ini will get reset when you reinstall the Creation Kit. We recommend using creationkitcustom.ini for your custom settings.

XB1 TEXTURE SUPPORTPrior to this update, mods used PC textures on Xbox One. With help with Microsoft, the Creation Kit is now able to post-process textures optimally for the Xbox One for improved performance. Optimal textures are now placed in a separate
    Texture archive.

We will be reaching out to top modders with Xbox One Mods that have textures, reminding them to update their mods with the new Creation Kit.
