    BETA - Wired Ethernet quit working after 2022-03-10 Beta Ring update


    As per the title.

    My wired connection stopped working after the March 10th, 2022 update was applied. The issue has not resolved itself after applying the release from today.

    I am able to connect via wireless, but the wired ethernet connection does not work via DHCP or static.

    I've tried new cables & resetting the network switch the XBOX is plugged into. I've also disconnected it from power for a couple of hours & then booted it back up.

    All the network gear is good, as everything else connected to that switch & even the same port as the XBSX works.

    I'm about to try a reset preserving my games to see if that helps.

    If that also fails, is there any way to determine if the actual wired ethernet port has gone bad? Outside of doing a send for repair of course.

    Slow Upload Speed on Xbox

    My console was on the Beta ring. I moved it to the omega ring, essentially rolling back several updates. After xbox was setup again, the issue still persisted. I log on today after work apx 16 hours later and normal upload speeds were back .

    New dashboard for xbox one in 2019?

    As an Insider I've just gone thru 3-4 updates in the last week, 1 30 minutes ago, and the dashboard has had some changes to location of Tabs (twists) for Gamepass, Mixer, Community and Store.

    Also a bug was fixed that was quite annoying and it seems a lot more efficient and responsive.

    It is being tested by Beta and now Delta rings, next will be Omega and then after that GA (General Availability) will get released I assume sometime in the near future.

    So prepare yourselves. News for Beta, Delta Insiders Update provides further details.
