    Beta: Current DVR recording has FPS set to 15


    Clips recorded on this latest beta patch have their FPS set to the wrong value, and it makes clip playback terrible. After digging more into this problem, I found this information about the video files MediaInfo: the older clips have locked FPS at 29 and the newer ones are locked at 15. http://puu.sh/F48oA/ab0285b39e.png

    I've full restarted my xbox and tested on two games: GTA and D2.

    Windows 10 Game DVR Issues

    So I try to GAME DVR a stream again from XBOX (non-beta) app tonight and I was able to record past the 10 second mark while sitting at the dashboard. I stop GAME DVR and load up NBA LIVE 15. WIN+ALT+R to record and BAM - Can't record right now. Wait a few
    minutes, try WIN+ALT+R again, starts to record but fails after 10 seconds, nothing to record right now.

    This is frustrating.

    Try the following:

    - Unplug the Xbox for 15 mins to do a hard reset

    - Make sure you are not signed in as a minor's account account to record.

    - Go back to the main screen, go to Console settings > Preferences, and then check the “record with Game DVR” option.

    - Turn off your Xbox one, then unplug it for 1 minute. Then power it on and go to setting, un-tick the “Record with Game DVR” and tick the option again.

    One Xbox One S and X. Max record time in DVR is 5 minutes with the resolution at 720p. On Xbox One. The DVR max is 15 minutes at 720p. All these settings are found under the Broadcasting and Capture section in Preferences in the settings. Although. That
    is odd that the S and X have a shorter time.

    Hey guys, go into your setting to make sure your dvr recording service is turned on. It's in settings under dvr and just make sure it has a check mark.

    If your computer has been updated with the Anniversary Update, there will be an option in Settings > Game DVR to set your Video quality to "60 fps".
