    why is it that you preorder a game for early access to the private beta and not be able to get the access?

    Anyone here is in EA Access beta?

    It's another subscription based service from EA called EA Access. It's $5 a month or $30 a year for access to some of the games by EA for free which they add to "Vault" as they call it. I'm not very sure about the details but you can look into it for yourself at their EA Access site.

    Hey there Young! The link that Hosanna posted has three buttons on the page: "How to Access the Beta [PC]", "How to Access the Beta [PS3]", and "How to Access the Beta [Xbox 360]". Just click on "How to Access the Beta [Xbox 360]" and it walks you through

    Hello!

    The most common reason would be that the beta hasn't started or isn't currently available. Though there are several other reasons that could potentially cause it.

    Exactly as stated above, the beta is possibly starting on a different date. Please be sure to check the developers website for info on their beta.

    Generally when you pre order digitally all you have to do is search for the beta in the store and download it. So for example the blackout beta. All you had to do was search "Blackout" in the store, download, and you would automatically have access.

    Unfortunately beta only takes place during certain time periods. You will want to consult the game dev's page for specific dates and times.

    You need to install the beta from the store not because you just preorder the game means the game itself has the beta portion of it usually game betas are separate from the base game and beta has a time frame that must be met before you can enter it

    Issues with the beta should be posted in the beta forum. If you don't have access to the forum, please create a thread using the account you applied to the beta with and ask for access to the beta forum.

    If this profile was used to register your console for the beta, then after the Beta and/or Supot Team ses this thread, they will grant you access. However, if this profile was not the one that registered your console or was converted by accessing somebody
    else's beta console, you will not receive access.

    The early access to the beta is over. Currently there is another beta for Halo 5 but only those who've purchased the game have access to it.

    Assassinjay129, if you registered your console for the beta, you will be allowed to access the beta forums with only the profile that was used to register your console. It may take a little time, but somebody from the Support Team and/or the Beta
    Team will see this thread and get your access issue fixed.

    However, if somebody else on your console registered it for the beta, or if you have used your profile on another console that was registered for and running the beta, you wil not get access to the forums. Only profiles that have registered their consoles
    for the beta will gain access to the beta forums. In this situaation, you would be stuck in "beta limbo" until the beta ends and the updates become public.
