Great decision to get an Xbox for your boys and nice to know that the adaptive controller will let your boys be gamers

I would say choose between the One S and the One X

The One S comes in 2 forms, the disk version and the all digital which will only let you buy/play digital games from either the store or GamePass (a great subscription service)

I would buy the One X only if you have a 4K TV, if you are connecting to a normal 1080p tv then I would go for the cheaper One S.

The Adaptive Controller will work with all 3 but the One S and One X are current consoles.

If if you are happy buying digital games, I would go One S digital as it can all be controlled without messing about with disks. It will allow your boys to choose what they want to play and not mess about with swapping disks.

All the Xbox One devices work just the same with the Adaptive controller. There is no difference between them when it comes to controllers on the consoles.
