Best external hard drive to use and do they cause any issue to xbox one

I remove the external hard drive and not sure use too much data and I'm on internal hard drive .Is there an future xbox console that will be bigger then 1TB like 8TB.But thanks and tried every thing above troubleshoot like for mat my xbox one.

If the external hard drive is corrupted that may cause issues to our Xbox such as will slow it down, will not let us download games, or not letting us turn on the Xbox console but if the external hard drive is not corrupted, that shouldn't cause any issues. Seagate hard drives are the only ones known to cause issues, but any other external hard drive should be fine. You can only use up to 2TB though.
