    Belkin (Routers): Strict NAT type
    Put your Xbox in the DMZ on your router. I had the same issue, my NAT stays open now. A Google search will show you how, if you don't already know. Good luck.

    Belkin (Modems/Gateways): How do I change my NAT type from strict?
    Help! I cannot connect fully to live due to my NAT type is strict. anybody know how to fix this???

    Hello!

    The most common cause of having a strict NAT type is that you have secondary router doing NAT that is connected to a modem/router from your service provider that is doing NAT. If that is what is causing the problem the only options are to disable NAT on
    the device from your service provider, or remove the second Router.
