My New XBOX S (bought December) will not Connect to my modem! help asap

You won't be able to get it mate. You could ask Belkin if they will supply it but I think people have asked Belkin in the past and they won't supply older firmware.

All is not lost just yet though, try turning off wireless security (as a test) as above.

If that still doesn't work try changing your wireless mode, there are a few different options:-

    • Mixed Mode (N+G+B)
    • G Only
    • N Only

Try each one individually and see if you can connect

I KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED FROM LIVE !!!!

Here's all the information you need on that Belkin.

I would try changing the wireless channel, but only if your Xbox is wireless. I would also change the wireless mode to G only. Have you made any changes to your set up? Have you maybe got some wireless headsets recently? Post
back and let us know what happens with this and answers to the questions. I hope it helps you out!

    Belkin: Changing the Wireless Channel

Does it matter if it is using the 2.4ghz band or can the xbox one support 5ghz too?

    Problem with router

You don't need the disc. Ok try your different wireless modes with security off. So instead of Wireless B+G+N just try B+G

Also please post up the firmware version you are using on the Belkin

Wireless N adapter - Won't connect to router after dash update.

Belkin, nothing but trouble with Xbox IMO. If you have tried and it doesn't connect with no security then its not looking good at all.

Are you using the Xbox360S internal wireless or the external adapter if so which one, the Black N or White G one?

Keep the security off for now and try this changing the wireless mode:-

    • 802.11g only
    • 802.11n (only if you have a wireless N adapter internal or external)
    • 802.11b & 802.11g & 1x1 802.11n

Do any of those modes work?

Also what firmware are you using on the router, 1.00.02 is the latest.
