Being tossed into mod lobbies via infinity wards' old matchmaking system

So last night i installed my xbox 360 copy of MW3 onto my series X to play multiplayer on since the newest cod games are hot garbage, and on more than a few occasions today i was thrown into modded/hacked lobbys with invisible hosts that couldnt be seen anywhere in the match. Im talking infinite ammo mods, being able to jump 300 feet in the air, unlimited killstreaks, the works, and they were flashing their cashtag on the screen to get people to buy these mods for themselves. While i was leary about being in the lobby i wanted to know before i play the game again at some point, will i be console banned or locked out of my microsoft account(s) on my console for unintentionally participating in one of these mod lobbies? Even after closing the game as to not participate?

Yeah sadly this is true I'm speaking from experience as wen I contacted infinity ward about my mw2 stats cause after being in Wat I now believe to have been a modded lobby and all my stats were put in the negative basically infinity ward were passing the
buck to microsoft and vice versa

did you already forget about the emergengy air drop/care package crap, the prestige lobbies/modded lobbies? i'm sure there are more but i quit playing it way back.. lets not forget about cod4... thats another infinity ward tilte that fell to mods/hacks/glitches
and still is messed up and not being fixed by iw.

Microsoft cannot reset that rank. You will need to contact Activision and or Infinity Ward. Next time as soon as you realize you are in a modded lobby dashboard immediately

So because Infinity Ward would not fix your negative stats, which they have no way to verify that you are telling the truth, that it was an accident and you didn't just press the "stats boost" button twice in a prestige lobby, they are "passing the buck"
to microsoft.
