I understand what you are feeling. Possible that the reason why you've been charged for it is because the renewal has been left on and you've been charged for the past due balance. It happens to me before as well where I've had a past due balance for 2 months then got charged after.

If your subscription is showing as active via https://account.microsoft.com/services page then you should be able to use the subscription on your PC. Try to restart your device or play any Game Pass for PC games to see if it will work.

But if not, you may also submit a refund request to the Xbox refunds team directly via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-a-... just make sure to get your order number for the subscription at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page then submit the request to them. They are the ones who will handle it for you and update you via email for the result of your request.

I can go through and download, then I have to go back and buy, but now, I am being charged $9.99 a month and $1.50 for each song, I thought the monthly charge was for unlimited music?

to do this on the xbox acc that was used were my credit card was charged from I called today Xbox customer service and my credit card should be removed so I don't continue to have this problems being monthly charge. 04/1/2019 but I have to fill out a form
through my Xbox account in order to receive my credited refund of 9.99 +9.99.

I definitely downloaded it during its Games with Gold run. Have deleted and re-downloaded it, and still being told to confirm a $9.99 charge, which I have no assurance that it won't be assessed.
