Begging for help!! I keep getting this Game Pass/Gold pop up when trying to play WWE 2K22.

I see others post this happening with other games as well. If your answer is "just buy game pass" don't waste my time please.

First Microsoft said I need Game Pass to play the game. That's not true. It's not Fortnite where you only play online multiplayer. Then they said it's 2K's issue. Then they said they aren't sure so just ignore it.

Context: This started on XB1 with the XB1 version of the game AFTER cancelling my free trial of Game Pass. Then I got a new XBSX with the XBSX version of the game (yes they are listed in "My games and apps" as 2 separate games) and they both have this pop up when initially launching the game. I also own Hitman which, also requires an online connection but you don't need Game Pass to play it unless you're trying to play multiplayer online and this pop up doesn't happen there. I also own Avengers and same thing; online connection is required but no need for Game Pass unless trying to play online multiplayer and no pop ups there either.

Also, it doesn't use Smart Delivery so in "My games and apps" there's 2 different games. "WWE 2K22 for XB1" and "WWE 2K22 for XBSX" and the XB1 version did it on my XB1 console and now that I've bought a brand new XBSX, both versions of the game do it on my new console.

I don't know what to do. NONE of my other games do this and *MOST* of them REQUIRE online access i.e. HITMAN 3. "Just buy Game Pass" isn't an answer - I'm not buying it. "You need it to play" isn't an answer because no, you don't.

Error Code While Trying To Play Park On 2k22

so 35 days ago i bought gamepass so i can play 2k22 because my friend told me to try the game out the game

so i got gamepass to not play the full price off 2k22 so by the time my gamepass stopped i liked 2k22 so i end up buying 2k22 but when the game downloaded everything was fine but when i tried to get on the spot it wanted me to buy gamepass so thats when i tried to 1v1 my friend in my court it all so wanted to get gamepass so i even looked up videos xbox all i want to do is play 2k22 please help me xbox

Please try to remove and re-add the card from your payment options. You can remove the payment method by doing the steps below.

Select Payment options.

In the box that contains your current payment option, select the box that contains the trash can icon to Remove your payment method.

You can add it again by doing the steps below.
