Hey there!

Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, a couple things come to mind here. First, make sure that your Xbox Live account matches your physical location as that can cause some weird issues like messaging not working. If you aren't sure, you can run your
Xbox Live account through our
migration tool. If that's not the case for you, try updating your
security proofs and see if that helps.

Hopefully one of those two things helps but if not, let us know and we'll take another look. Good luck!

No messages appears

hello, I'm facing this problem for more than 6 months. I can't receive nor send messages from my Xbox one. It's really frustrating that I contacted with Xbox support teams many times regarding this issue and still no one could solve this problem for me.

Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug the power brick from the console and the outlet for 5 minutes then plug everything back in and power back on.

If that doesn't work then you could try a console reset as a last resort. go to settings, all settings, console and update info then select reset console. Choose to keep everything and your console will restart and go through a small set up again and will
have you sign in. After your back on the home screen try the messages again.

Are you able to view them on the Xbox app on Windows 10 or on Xbox.com? Give that a try and see if it works. Also, are you in the preview program? If you are and this doesn't work try posting in the forums there and official support will investigate the
issue and offer more troubleshooting tips

Im having an almost same issue so when i go to my messages and all that i click to type a response but it dosent pop up the textbox plz explain how to fix this ....also if i hold down the button to pull up the screen to restart or turn off the controller
or shut down it dosent pop up the screen
