Why do I keep DNS error. DNS cant resolve server names. I've entered primary and secondary server which works for a little bit. I. Reset back factory settings. Is there a address that actually works for Xbox live so these DNS errors will stop

Your using 2 routers , the BEC 8800N and the nighthawk ....double nat , either have to bridge the BEC 8800N or hook the xbox to it instead of the nighthawk....you might be able to bridge it yourself if you want to look through this guide....

Bridge your BEC 8800N and use your Nighthawk exclusively for routing/NAT capabilities.

No more issues in regard to your NATs behaviour.

I forgot to add one more tidbit. The BEC router is way out of reach for my Xbox to connect to with a wired connection and the wireless capabilities seem to not be working on the BEC device. So if any other solution involves connecting to the BEC router itself,
I'm afraid I cannot do. All the networking is through the Nighthawk.
