    BD-R Issue


    I have recently purchased a demo disc from Find-Demo-Disc.com, they make their discs on BD-Rs. I'm having an issue where the menu freezes up. When you first put in the disc, the first page of the menu comes up and it works like normal, then when you go left
    or right, it goes all the way to the last page the freezes and is unusable. (Pictures below) The xbox reads the disc just fine and I can still access the content on the disc using the "go to" feature but it is not very intuitive. I've tested the disc on another
    blu ray player and there is no issues at all. I'm curious to know if there is some kind of incompatibility with xbox one and BD-Rs or an issue with blu ray app. Is there any way to fix this? Please help, this shouldnt be happening like this (first picture

    Hi martyeastwood1,

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums!

    We understand it is frustrating since the Xbox One S will not read the Blu-ray discs. Now when you try to watch any Blu-ray discs, does the system display an error or message?

    Does the console play Game discs or CDs? Also, please make sure you have the Blu-ray player installed on the console. This is not an app that is pre-installed.

    Please check out the Disc and Blu-ray settings for more information.

    Sadly, the feature is still not supported despite the Xbox Feedback post having a lot of supporters for the feature.

    any update to this? Need BD-R support to play home burned BD-R discs so I don't have to have a separate blu-ray player attached. Is this actually planned for any future update?
