Bayonetta Performance Issues

This game seems to suffers from an extremely low framerate in both cutscenes and when playing making it almost impossible to enjoy playing it.

Anyone else still looking: I've noticed a reduction in the stuttering. When it starts happening if you hit the Menu button (to the left of the xbox guide button) and give the game a hard pause for just a second or two the issue will stop immediately.

So I'm definitely having this problem. Has anyone tried the "don't charge a second control at the same time" fix? I'm at the point where I have to either pause it as quickly as possible, play offline (which causes all sorts of GMP issues at my base), or
hope that I don't walk into the line of sight of an enemy. If it continues I doubt I'll play more or invest in another Konami game.

 

I am having the same problem. The prologue played just fine and I was super exited to play the rest of the game, only to discover that its so slow that its virtually unplayable. The sound plays a full 10 seconds before the actual events happen. Does anyone
have a fix for this?

 

I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and deleting my save. The frame-rate still drops after the prologue/intro.

Mister Maka, the "fix" in that thread only works for about 30 mins, a permanent fix is in the preview but this doesn't help those of us who are unable or unwilling to get into the preview!!!
