    Battlefield 3 profile permissions


    We recently bought BF3, but mutli-player, co-op and player customisation gives the same error about the profile not having permissions to perform the activity.

    Do you need Gold membership or is it restricted per country or something like that?

    I have read a couple of messages on these forums for the same error but none of the suggestions have worked for us.

    Battlefield online connection problem

    I can't play battlefield 3 online for Xbox 360. Every time I click multiplayer it says "your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox live functionalty." Any help on this

    Battlefield 3, permissions problem.

    I redeemed my halo 14 day gold account and battlefield works now. But I did play halo yesterday which was Tuesday and it worked.

    14 day trials only allow limited access to Xbox Live features. It does not actually make your account Gold.

    If this is the profile that you are trying to play with you will not be able to play online multiplayer. This profile is a silver (FREE) account. You will need to upgrade to a Gold subscription if you wish to play online. This past weekend was a free
    weekend for multiplayer so that may be why you were able to play online. Either that or you used a trial that came with Halo 4 and that would only let you play certain aspects of that particular game.
