Battlefield 3 multiplayer doesn't work

Hello,

I recently purchased the physic version of Battlefield 3 on Xbox One. There are two discs, one for the multiplayer (CD 1), the other for single player (CD 2).

The only disc which worked properly was the CD 1 (so the multi one)... But this disc installed the single player game, and when I try to insert the CD 2 (the one with the inscription "single player / campaign"), there is an error message ("impossible to
read this disc", or something like that).

If I intend to play multiplayer or coop, a message appears, saying that my account is not connected to something called "Battlefeed"...

So I visit the EA website, I log in with my xbox account, it works well. I go in the "code" section, and I enter the code which is written on a paper in the box of the game (25 characters). It doesn't work.

There, I ask the support, and they say "we don't have the tools to fix this problem, contact xbox support".

So, here I am. Any solutions ?

I'd guess it was purchased used and the multiplayer part if the game was already used my previous owner.

First if you can I would return this to the retailer for a refund if you can.

Was this purchased as a used game? Or is it a brand new copy?

This was released back in 2011 so if this was a used copy then it is likely that may be a bad disc and that the key was already used by the original purchaser.

found a thread on EA support for the same problem and clearing the alternate mac address fixed the problem.

settings-network setting-advanced-alternate mac-clear (your xbox will restart)

if the problem persists be sure to return the disc to the store you purchased it from.

i also read that there is a possible flaw in the 360 emulator connecting to the servers for the BF3.

because it is in plastic does not mean it is new. I worked in a software store in the 90's and we had a shrink-wrap machine in the back I could make anything look new.

Was it listed new or used? What retailer did you purchase this from?

My first suggestion sis to return it either for a new copy or a refund if you can. The sooner you try to do this the better.

We are volunteers in these forums to help you we cannot generate a new multiplayer code if that is what you are looking for.

The game was purchased brand new, the box was in plastic packing when I received it.

I validated the command and let a positive comment about the retailer, so too late to get a refund I presume.
