Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Installation Stopped

I’ve been trying all morning to install the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta. At various points installation will randomly stop then restart from the beginning. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox, hard resetting it, and a combination of both and nothing seems to be helping. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If possible, try downloading another game and see if the same behavior occurs again.

However, since you have already tried all forms of reset, I would suggest getting in touch with the game developer to report the issue.

No error messages have appeared. I’m not trying to download anything else currently so I don’t know if this is the only game affected or not. Yes I’ve tried all forms of reset suggested via Xbox support.

I have looked on google and twitter and this seems to be an issue with various people trying to download both this beta and the Marvel’s Avengers game.

Are you receiving any specific error messages?
Does this happen only with this game or all of your games?
Have you tried the reset keeping games and apps?
