Additionally, as you've indicated that your WindowsApps folder is locked (protected from changes), this may indicate that your profile on your PC is not yet listed as an administrator profile. If possible, you can change your profile from a local one
to that of an admin and try your previous troubleshooting again to see if it pans out this time.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10

Hello Amber, thanks for the response. I have performed all steps supplied, nothing gives access to modify or edit contents of the WindowsApps folder. I assume this is because Microsoft doesnt want people hacking/duplicating apps or games downloaded through
the Microsoft Store. But this is a product I am paying for (Game Pass) and a game that is offered doesnt work. Im not really expecting to be able to resolve this myself, but am attempting to get this to the right people at Microsoft to fix the issue as I know
it is affecting more than just me.

As stated above I have done all of the suggested steps so far. I have not yet been able to play this one game. I have uninstalled/reinsttalled/reset/repaired, none of which have worked

Did you try Starfield? That too is crashing with exact same error for me. I created another post for that. Not sure why I keep reporting this, when xbox team is clearly deliberately ignoring this for years.
