Bards Tale IV on XBOX Games Pass for PC

Hello all,

As I try to load up Bards Tale IV on Games Pass for PC it constantly freezes after logging in. After I exit the application using task manager, I see a window that says the cloud save for this game is newer than the local. I choose the cloud save and the
window closes. I load up Bards Tale again and it does it again. I have tried minimizing the game to get to that window but for some reason I cannot minimize the game. I'm not far into the game so un-installing the game wont hurt me too much, but I want to
prevent this from happening again. Can I turn off cloud saves? If so, how? Thanks.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to try and help.

Unfortunately you cannot turn off cloud saves. You can always Alt+Tab rom a full-screen to access that window without having to close the Xbox (Beta) app.

Have you tried launching the game via a shortcut or from the Start menu?

I would try selecting the local save the next time you see that window as the cloud save could have been corrupted while syncing. If the issue continues, then I would recommend re-installing the game at that point.

they have a bunch now cause of game pass, like undertale and bards tale.

Select the Start
button > Settings
> Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select
Remove. Then go back to the
Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

Hi,

the Troubleshoot doesn´t work for me.

I have win 10 and use the Xbox(beta) app.

The problem is the connection to the live service, in other games too (checked today).

Live isn´t blocked.

Only the live service is broken ...
